Very Bad Experience with Triton Travels - No Transparency, Flop Arrangements
We booked a group tour to Hong Kong for lions international convention in July 2026 with Triton Travels. Due to the sudden death of my mother-in-law, my husband and I could not travel. Total cost was Rs 318000/-
We had a last installment of Rs. 68, 000 pending which we did not pay because of the bereavement. Instead of dealing with it compassionately, Triton Travels deducted that Rs. 68, 000 from our flight refund.
Singapore Airlines had refunded Rs. 91, 000/- for our tickets, but Triton gave us back only Rs. 22, 500 after deducting the pending installment. So we lost the entire tour amount we had already paid PLUS most of our flight refund. No refund for land package, no consideration for an emergency cancellation due to death in the family.
And the tour itself, according to our friends who did go, was an utter flop:
• No proper tour arrangements
• Sightseeing not conducted as per itinerary
• No coordination, everyone felt they wasted time and money
We trusted them with a big international trip and in a difficult time they showed zero empathy and zero professionalism. Highly disappointed. Would never recommend Triton Travels to anyone Was this information helpful? |
