Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a TVS Jupiter 125 from TVS Sabharwal, Moti Nagar, in November 2021 having no. DL11K2681. I have had all servicing done at the TVS Sabharwal service stations in Moti Nagar and Rama Road, and I have also subscribed to their Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) scheme, under which my vehicle is covered. You may verify the service history; all work on my vehicle has been performed at authorized service centers. My last service was conducted on August 24, 2026, at the TVS service center on Rama Road. About 15 days ago, while riding over a speed breaker, I felt an electric shock; I initially dismissed it as a random sensation. However, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, while riding the scooter, I received a severe electric shock; the shocks recurred repeatedly while riding, and I narrowly avoided an accident. I visited the TVS Rama Road service station that same Saturday and reported the issue (Complaint No. 152). They asked me to leave the scooter there so they could inspect and repair it. On Sunday, I received a call from Ms. Riya (Mobile No. [protected]) at TVS Rama Road, informing me that my scooter was ready and could be picked up. I intend to collect the scooter today and ask the technician about the cause of the electric shock.
However, I am apprehensive about the electric shock issue. I would like to know the cause of this problem and whether it poses a risk to life, as the shock I experienced was quite severe. Who would be held responsible if an accident were to occur due to this? Please explain what repairs have been carried out and consult your technical team to clarify whether such electric shocks can occur in this scooter model.
I earnestly request that my scooter undergo a thorough inspection and that my issue be effectively resolved.
