University Grants Commission — Issue: Documents Required from VIT University

Dear Sir/Mam,

My name is Umesh Goel. I am working in Nestle India Ltd at Samalkha Factory (Dist.: Panipat). I want to share one problem with you that is related to my son (Shubham Goel) who was studying in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

My son was studying B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. My son was suffering from Pancreatitis since Jan 2016 due to which I had to drop my child from 4th Semester because of above medical problem.

Now, My son is on bed rest on doctors advise. So, I am not taking forward his education in VIT.

Now, I have asked the VIT administration to provide Migration certificate, NOC & Original documents of 12th class. I also requested them to waive off my son remaining fees on medical reasons.

I want my son to take admission in nearby colleges at Samalkha (Dist.: Panipat).

But, VIT management refused to provide any such document until I pay them remaining fees (i.e. 6.40 lacs).

I just want to enquire that whether I should pay them the remaining fees & how will I get the above documents of my child.
