I purchased an Urban Company Native M1 Water Purifier in Pune on June 21, 2026. My municipal input water is low at 35 TDS. Because this purifier completely lacks a physical TDS controller in its design blueprint, it strips the water down to an unsafe, demineralized level of 7 TDS. Drinking this water has caused acute health issues and made my parents sick.
When I contacted customer care on Day 4 of delivery, they explicitly told me they "don't care what happens after the product is sold" and refused to help, blindly repeating that they have a strict "no return policy" after installation.
Since a technician cannot repair a hardware feature that does not exist in the product design, their internal policy is endangering my family's health.
Required Solution:
Urban Company must either immediately arrange for product uninstallation and a full refund, or send a senior engineering team to custom-modify this specific machine with a physical hardware TDS modulator to make the output water medically safe for consumption. Was this information helpful? |
