I became acquainted with website/application through an online advertisement, subsequently registering with my contact information. Following my registration, I received a call from one of company's representatives, Mr. Alok. He encouraged me to pay a subscription fee of 1001/- to gain access to the bidding platform for 2W and 4W vehicles. Mr. Alok assured me that he would guide me through the subsequent steps and document submission process. Consequently, I acquired the subscription and placed bids for one 2W and one 4W vehicle.
Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by another company representative, Mr. Hitendra, who instructed me to remit an EMD of 20, 000/- to secure my desired vehicle. He also provided assurances of a full refund in the event that the vehicles were not approved. Adhering to our agreement, I transferred the sum of 20, 000/- via PhonePay to the VehicleDuniya account.
Regrettably, my attempts to communicate with Mr. Hitendra for updates and inquiries about my refund were met with silence. After a two-week period of non-responsiveness, I placed a new bid on a different vehicle, prompting Mr. Hitendra to reemerge and request an increase in the bid amount for a higher likelihood of approval. In good faith, I followed his advice, yet once again, he ceased all communication via phone calls, text messages, and WhatsApp.
This pattern persisted, with Mr. Hitendra repeatedly requesting higher bids and promising refunds without following through. After several weeks of fruitless attempts to reach him, I decided to place another bid. To my disappointment, Mr. Hitendra still did not respond. Even when I called from a different phone number, he promptly ended the call upon hearing my name and refused further contact.
I have explicitly communicated to company my intention to file a formal complaint if the refund was not processed. I am well aware of the refundable nature of the EMD amount, as outlined in your company's policy.
I kindly request your immediate attention and resolution of this matter. I expect a prompt refund of the EMD amount in accordance with policy, along with a reimbursement of the subscription fee I initially paid. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address this matter promptly.
I sincerely hope for a swift and amicable resolution to this matter.
