Velammal Vidyalaya Paruthipattu — Readmission process

Hi I had taken my 5 year old kid for entrance exam at Velammal Vidyalaya Paruthipattu Branch for admitting in first standard. The results were published and my kids name was not on the list. When I called up the school, they gave me a blunt reply stating the reason as LOW MARKS. They just slammed down the phone even without answering to my other queries . It was unacceptable to me. How can they judge a 5 year old kid through a test. Kids sometimes find it difficult in a new environment. If they had withheld the result and discussed the issue with us - parents, I would have been happy and would have better prepared my kid to get admission in the next year. This was very difficult for us to accept and caused mental agony as my kid is very intelligent but he is a bit playful at times. A better approach in handling these issues are needed . On the whole a bitter experience for me.
