In our clg still didn't 1st semester exam result didn't came out. Before that payment of 2nd semester fees payment date came out.
Last time all paid before the one or two days before the 1at semester exam but this time they said to pay penalty i[censored]r late before 22/1/2024 but result didn't came . Totally per a semester 61500 in that i paid 50, 000 balance 11, 500 even though i paid 50k they add penalty for 11, 500 as 500 fine.

I'm studying in Vels University final year BSC computer science department, my class incharge was telling me that I want to come to iv tour for tommorow I'm interested only but I am injured. I was told to my class incharge but he didn't replied me and telling that I want join the anthor member instead of me from next time my parents called to sir but he didn't picked up the call i mad 500 adavance amount.so kindly check and call me [protected]

At admission time they told morning shift but still now 5 months over we are coming in evening shift what is it???
And the teachers always will ask pay the fees
Addmission time they took 10, 000
And promised for morning shift

Please give the marksheet 6th semester i got a offer letter in wipro i will submit all semester marksheet in company plz provide the 6th semester marksheet

This is to bring in your notice that a department like School of Education where the faculties are specialized in giving proper training the the future teachers are the ones who are having poor teaching techniques. It is such a shame that an institute holding a huge reputation and glitters on outside is merely providing any standard teaching.

Here's few examples of how the teachers behave :

1. The HOD herself showed up THRICE in the course of 1month.She never felt the importance of informing the students about her irregularity, so students keep on waiting for her thinking she might join the class (online).

On top of that, she had given us assignment on the first unit without even teaching us Anything!!

2.As the teaching mode is online, there is another faculty who is so unprofessional that in between her lecture she takes up calls, she disappears from the class keeping her video and mic off, upon asking her to take through the units once again she assigned one of the students to take up the responsibility and she disappears for the whole time. The student, upon finishing taking us through the units, kept looking out for the faculty but of course, she wasn't there...she arrived after 15mins, turned on her video and said she is sorry that she couldn't listen to the student's presentation as she had some work.

Well this is how the faculties behave here. They don't care after assigning someone to do their job...No appreciation either.

3. Teachers conduct lectures in Tamil no matter how many times you remind them that you don't understand Tamil. We have to ask for information shared in the class from our peers again in English. That seems you don't belong to the class to know everything.

4. They care more on giving assignments rather than teaching properly. It's a shame to inform, none of the faculties are educated themselves to teach. They fail to give a clear idea, they might have attained highly qualified degree, but sorry to mention they still need trainings on delivering teaching sessions in a comprehendible manner.

5. The management on the other hand is so poor, needless to mention, we are given an examination date coming up in 4 days- we neither have the timetable, nor the syllabus for few subjects. Everything is last minute and stressful.

6. Even after taking a handsome amount of fees, let me mention Tuition Fees in this case...it is going completely useless. The teachers themselves are inefficient in teaching, as a student we are the ones responsible to collect materials, do self study, do all our research, prepare our own notes on each topic ; So what's the point on paying tuition fee?

Addition to that they call themselves to be UGC and NCTE accredited deemed to be university, but without following their standards and norms. I really wish an inspection to be carried out to understand the real standard of teaching in VELS.

Also illegally keeping the original certificates of students which is strictly against the UGC and NCTE norms.

So many things need to be changed in this university. The saying is definitely true in this case "All that glitters is not Gold"!!

My name is vikash singh bhadoriya . i took admission in vels university chennai in 2019 under the course of bachelor of nautical science. it is very costly course they took 8.5 lacs i paid this fees by bank loan now i am in thurd year and there is no placement not a single company is coming there many of my seniors have to pay additional money to agent. kindly take a very serious action against this academy.

I'm studying B. SC Aviation in vels.i don't know whether the staff in our department or entire department is poor.There is No proper regular staff for us.And some irregular staff they use to make unwanted filthy languages in the mids of classes.And some staff they use to show partiality towards boys and girls.There is no proper teaching but they will give only the notes to study in which there is no use.

எனது மகளின் ஒரிஜினல் மாற்றுச்சான்றிதழ், மதிப்பெண்பட்டிய லை 8/9/2018 அன்று வலுகட்டாயமாக பெற்றுக்கொண்டேன். ஆனால் கட்டணமாக 30.7.2018 அன்று ஆஸ்டல் டெபாசிட் ரு 5 ஆயிரமும், 30/7/2018 பி.டெக் என்று எழுதி ரு 5 ஆயிரமும், 6/8/2018 அன்று 25427 என்று குறிப்பிட்டு ரு 58, 500/-ம், ஆஸ்டல் கட்டணம் ரு 55, 000/-ம் ஆக கூடுதல் தொகையாக 1, 23, 500/- ஒரு லட்சத்து இருபத்தி முன்று ஆயிரத்தி ஜநுறு ருபாயை இன்னும் எனது வங்கி கணக்கில் வரவு வைக்கப்படலில்லை. அதனால் இதுகுறித்து விபரமாக நிர்வாக இயக்குநருக்கு 1/10/2018 அன்று பதிவு தபால் அனுப்பினேன். அதற்க்கும் எந்தவித நடைவடிக்கையும் இன்று வரை எடுக்கப்படவில்லை. இது தொடர்பாக செப்டம்பர் 9 அன்று கன்சூய்மர் கம்பளைண்ட் கொடுத்தேன். அதற்க்கும் நடைவடிக்க இல்லை. அதனால் இன்று மீண்டும் நான் கட்டிய தொகை 1, 23, 500/-த்தை உடனே எனது வங்கி கணக்கல் வரவு வைக்கவேண்டுமாய் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

I am working as a pg teacher in a government higher secondary school. I applied for phd program online for part time course a few months ago. A faculty from vels university called me a few days ago and i suppose that he is dr. Suresh and he asked me to pay rs 1200 in cash for the entrance test. Today morning i attended the entrance test conducted for ph. D english at vel’s university after paying rs 1200 in cash. I was asked to wait after the entrance test for an interview. A little later he reached the place where i waited along with the others for an interview and he asked to get me the xerox copies for the original certificates (At around 12.30 pm) and said that the hod is engaged in some other interview and he may not know when he will reach. He had not mentioned any time for which the interview is scheduled and i left the university to take the xerox copies and to take the lunch. I reached the university at around 3 pm where i have not found anyone in that department.
I contacted him (Dr. Suresh) over phone and his response was highly wounding to me. He used unparlimentary words and he talked to me in singular and he said that “you may see anyone regarding this” which should not be used by anyone who work in a university. I may not know whether he is working in that university else he is the owner to pay everyone with his money. He should have intimated me if he had not found a candidate for the interview if he is really sincere in his duties. I may not know how long he will stay in the campus. He should have stayed in that campus to ensure whether all the candidates have attended the interview or not since i was reaching for the shops to take the xerox copies.
I don’t worry even if i don’t get a chance for doing phd eventhough i already published 6 papers in international journals. I want you to take necessary action against him for using such a language. His words were not like this until i pay the money for my entrance test and if he had used this language while he contacted me i may not have attended this entrance test.
Vels university will lose its reputation if it encourages the faculties who are like this. Kindly mail me if i have to raise this complaint to any other email. I searched for online grievance and i have found any provision for this. I would like to take this to your dean and i don’t find his mail on your web.

I am a 1st year mba student in vels university chennai. The institution is miss leading us by giving wrong notes and the faculties are worst qualified, the institution is always asking for money only they are not providing any quality to the education and its really a worst experience as a mba student so kindly please help the future of the students in this kind of instituion considering education as the way of making money only. If you could please make a sudden visit to this institution and try to know what is the quality of education they are providing to the students

Sir, I'm a student of vels university, I'm pursuing my bba final year .I'm a brought up a complaint regarding the staff and hod often collects money for no reason, recently for the the cultural they have collected rs.408 and again they collected for breakage rs.222 and now again they are asking rs.248 .so the total sum of rs.870. And the students who dint pay the amount rs.408 and rs.222 now has to pay only 550. And those who paid already above mentioned amounts has to pay again 248 that is total 878. We people are paying 330rs extra.If we ask the reason, they are saying don't argue and i[censored] don't pay we won't give u hall ticket.This is what happens every time .And if some people doesn't have money, staffs says to beg from others.And hod uses unparliamentary words.(harsh language) .such a shamefull to study under such teachers .if these issue is not been brought to an end.than we would like to handover to the media.there are more issues happening inside the college .Thanks sir/madam. Imstudying vels... I have brought sign in first graduate form.. The staf said wait 5min...
. Now the 2hrs has gone... Noting hapens... The register officer not came... We having very trouble.. Iam a student of vels... But wat can i do... Not came... No reapects giving sir.. Tis is to the respectively sir ganeshan sir pls read and change make sir pla...

we all know about bribe in colleges, but vels university exceptional in colleting bribe. exam fees- comparing with anna university, vels university used to collect double the amount from students, they collect more money but no facilties inside the campus...we all know mobiles are strictly prohibited in side the class room, but staf[censored]se the mobile in class during lecture hours...hostel facility is not good when compared to government colleges... there is ragging in hostel, but management do not take any action..so the students try to discontinue their studies but management don't give way for that also..when students try to discontinue their studies management ask them to pay full course fees to return their transfer certificate(TC). this is what happening inside they VELS UNIVERSITY

Don't take admission in Vels University. Better you sit at home or join your family business. Atleast your can earn something by doing those things.

There are few criteria on which we take decision either the university is GOOD or WORST.

Just read the below remarks and decide about VELS

1. Good Infrastructure (Vels = 2 out of 10)
2. Good Quality of Staffs (Vels = 3 out of 10)
3. Good management (Vels = 2 out of 10)
4. Good campus environment (Vels = 2 out of 10)
5. Rules & regulation for students (Vels = 2 out of 10)
6. Activities inside/outside the campus (Vels = 1 out of 10)
7. Research activities (Vels = 0 out of 10) --For students , they buy this also
8. Fee structure (Vels = 2 out of 10) as per their standard
9. But they are the best in Torturing students for different reasons at various occasions.

Choice is yours.
