A week back i got a call from a person named zayan malik, who was claiming to be the HR of veristat and he said they were hiring for bangalore location and said that tgey were hiring for data scientist role, so they would be conducting 4 rounds starting with the HR round. I searched about the company on google and found there website but when i saw the locations then i was little bit convinced that this is a scam because the locations mentioned were all outside of india and not even one you tube video was of someone from india about this company. I led them on to see where this ends up and i kind of failed the technical round on purpose to see whether they call me back or not, as expected i got a call from them and they said that although the technical round was not cleared we want to offer another chance, by this time i was quite sure but i wasnt finding any reviews or complaints about this kind of offer. I searched on fishbowl and found a samilar kind of senarion reported by someone but there was no answer to the questiones asked there. So again they called for the ops tech round and i cleared that, after one day i get a call from the same number but the person claims to be garvit patel, this is the same name from which i was getting the interview mails all along but the number was registered by the name of zayan malik. This person named garvit told me that my senior wants to talk to you and his senior then came to the call and he said that i have to complete a professional certification in tableau for which they will reimburse in my first months salary, by this time i was dam sure that this is a scam but i just wanted to know how much down they can go to, so i told him that ok i will do it from udemy or courceera, the person was like no no we do not accept certifications from there. So i told him ok you only recommend where should i do it from, then he said that i will send you a link and you can fill in aal the details there later on you will gey a call from them and then you can complete your certification. Fortunately i had read this thing already on fishbowl so that time i didnt said anything to him but i am sure that this is a big scam in the name of a canadian company veristat.

I can't believe someone will do such kind of scams in a name of your company veristat.
He also has given me the confirmation letter claiming he will reimburse the paid fees and will give offer letter after completion of course.
I got scammed for total 18k.
