I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Vihaan Direct Selling (India) Pvt. Ltd., regarding unauthorized purchases and deceptive practices by their distributors. The following details outline the issues encountered by myself and my family:
Unauthorized Purchases:
Products were purchased by Vihaan Direct Selling's distributors on behalf of myself and two other family members without our consent, explanation, or authorization. Specifically, one "Trip Savr Adventure Vacation Package" was purchased for me, and two "Trip Savr Basic" packages each were purchased for two of my family members. The deceitful distributors claimed that my family members are going to be my nominees and beneficiaries. But they were added as distributors without consent or knowledge.
Misrepresentation of Funds:
We were informed that payments were for registration fees, but in reality, these funds were used to purchase products without our knowledge or consent.
Fraudulent Use of Personal Information:
The distributors used fake email addresses, phone numbers, and possibly addresses for the registration and identity verification processes, thereby deceiving us and manipulating the system to their advantage.
Lack of Transparency and Misleading Information:
No clear information about product details, payment modes, or company transactions was provided. International transactions were conducted using our funds without any transparency or consent.
Deceptive Financial Practices:
Distributors directed payments to personal or undisclosed accounts, misleadingly labeled as accounts of the company's financial or accounting departments. No payment receipts, product details, or any form of transaction acknowledgment were provided.
Concealment of Consumer Information:
Essential consumer information such as distributor IDs, registered email IDs, or phone numbers associated with the purchases were withheld, making it impossible for us to reach out to the company or understand our consumer rights fully.
Refusal of Refund:
Despite the awareness of these unethical practices, Vihaan Direct Selling has not honored requests for refunds for these unwanted products.
These actions not only infringe upon our consumer rights but also constitute unethical business practices. We demand:
An immediate investigation into these practices.
Full refunds for all unauthorized purchases made on our behalf.
Assurance that our personal information will be corrected and secured.
Transparency in all future interactions with Vihaan Direct Selling or its distributors.
