Business style of Vishal Mega Mart, Fraud and Cheating
Complaint under Section 420/120-B for Fraud and Criminal Conspiracy by staff of Vishal Mega Mart, Phagwara.
Sir,
The Complainant was deprived of the offers displayed at Vishal Mega Mart Store and due to misconduct and fraud of Vishal Mega Mart Cashier and Branch Manager the consumer suffered harassment, mental agony and economic loss.
I visited Vishal Mega Mart, G.T. Road, Phagwara’s store and the store made fraud with me in a very unique and professional style of fraudsters. Made refund of Rs 180/- but not issued me the second bill by which the amount of Rs 180/- has been paid and how the amount of Vat had been adjusted. When the customer demand the items as per offers displayed the staff and manager simply refuse.
How the customers are dodged in the store of Vishal Mega Mart, cleverly add items in the Purchase bill which the customer has not purchased, Luckily when I checked the items of the bill generated then came to know that the bill generated by the cashier has added 3 Packets of Parle Krack Jack biscuits amounting to Rs 180/- which I have not purchased

At Cash Counter when the Branch Manager’s number asked from Cashier he said that I don’t have Branch manager’s Contact Number. Whereas he made call to Branch manager. On my request to call the Branch manager to come to Cash Counter he refused to come to cash counter. Then I went upstairs and shown him the Billboards and Display schemes offered by Vishal Mega Mart. His reply was that you don’t purchase the item from us, these offers have been closed. On my asking when offer was closed he could not provide satisfactory reply rather replied that the scheme is out of stock. On my asking which scheme is out of stock, when it is specifically mentioned the cost of item should be more than Rs 20/- and the cost of the pack of Goodday is Rs 35/- then this scheme is applicable on the product displayed in scheme. The Branch Manager replied that there are so many schemes it may be on the pack of Rs 60/- MRP. on my request that I am ready to purchase Goodday with Rs 60/-MRP then provide me the offer as displayed. He said we will not provide the scheme, you may or may not purchase the product from us. -----Is it a fair? Why Vishal Mega Mart dodge the customers. After my purchase Vishal Megal Mart changed the display regarding offer on Bhujia by displaying the item at Maximum Retail Price of Rs 272/- . It shows that these companies are staraightaway dodging the customers because we people don’t check the bill minutely at cash counter and pay the amount instantly because the cashier used to tell us the amount of bill and after making payment, he used to issue us Cash memo.
