Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an overcharged electricity bill that I have recently received. For the past 2 to 3 years, my average electricity usage has consistently been between 200 to 280 units, resulting in an average bill of around 1500 to 2, 500 RS. However, my most recent bill reflects an alarming consumption of 1408 units, with a total amount due of ₹8, 416. This is a significant and unexpected increase, which is not at all acceptable.

I am confident that this high usage figure is incorrect, as there has been no significant change in our electricity consumption patterns. Therefore, I kindly request you to investigate this issue and waive off the additional charges that have been incorrectly levied.

Please treat this matter with urgency and provide a resolution as soon as possible. Your prompt attention to this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Otherwise need to be take up this matter with consumer court forum.

Attached Consumer Bill copy of Aug month and Attached last payment receipt of June month.
