Shriyapatil45, While sweeping the floor on Swacch Bharth did the school principal also sweep with all the teachers? are you as an educationalist meet the salary standards? Do you want to give reasons saying because all schools are providing meager salary you are on par with that, market standard gimmicks? Instead of targeting some teacher why don't you collectively demand compensation in lieu of the demands and expectations you have from teachers? There are many more reviews apart from this regarding the disrespect shown amongst teachers themselves. Do you have counselors for teachers and principles as well? Do your experienced teachers know how to treat the new teachers and the vice versa. Mental health of teachers both seniors and juniors are highly essential for living peacefully and imparting knowledge to students, this will give a different status to the school.

Sorry Ms Shantala, I saw your message quite late. Since I am still working in this school, I choose to reply to this thread. Its really sad to see your attitude in this reply. As a guru or a teacher, we have to rise above the rest and think miles ahead. In this age when parents are targeting schools for charging exorbitant salaries, I am sure it must be demands like yours that led to the present situation. If you want to demand huge salary, walk in with that assured amount when you accept the job.
Secondly your question about School Principal sweeping along with teachers - our Management team also takes part happily in such programmes. You can check our school FB pages and see the pictures for yourself. But yes, I understand you are stuck in the ego between faculty members and fail to see the real purpose of our roles in the society. We are assigned with the biggest task in our country - moulding the next generation. I hope that if you are this unhappy with the role given you should switch to IT sector where you will be given a lot of pay and perks as well.
To conclude I would only say - Happiness of a person is in his or her own hands. No one has tied us down with shackles that we choose to spread wrong image about any school for that matter. Work internally to make the organisation stronger rather than going on public forums and spreading negativity since only then we can bring in the change. Ms Nikitha is yet to reply to my post and I hope some day she will delete this once she realises it didnt bring any good to her at all.
There is no harm is posting complaints - but kindly see to it that you do not exaggerate incidents or make up stories that dont exist. As a partner in the field of education, I end with a prayer - let us act as per our age and roles - let us not stoop to levels unwarranted.

The leave deductions over weekend is not only true to this school, but also in the industry. Teachers get a full one month paid leave as compared to most other employees working in other fields. Regarding salary payments, I have been working here for past 5 years and not even one month was my or any of my colleague's salary held back for any reason. The management is very good with such issues and once you prove yourself with regard to taking good care of children, they are very supportive. Especially the Director has been a guiding force for all o[censored]s here and with 98% female staffing, we are surely in a good position to take care of our issues.
Regarding Swachh Bharat Mission, what is wrong with mopping the floor? Do you mean to say that all support staff who do such work are insulted? Let me inform everyone that not even one person has resigned due to this cause. It is pathetic that with this kind of mentality you choose to be in the teaching profession. I hope now that you are in Nagarjuna, atleast there you will not impose your wrong ideas on kids and play with their future.
