I ordered Google Pixel 7 from Flipkart through Vision star seller on 8 Oct, it was supposed to be delivered on 16 Oct. We requested for an earlier delivery but were denied. From the tracking screen, it was seen that the phone was out for delivery on 16 Oct. Since we received a msg for the same with the contact number of the delivery person, we spoke with him and he seemed hesitant to deliver the item. We waited the entire day to receive the item. There was no call/ msg from anyone.
On 17 Oct, in the morning first mail received was for delayed delivery. Then suddenly without any forewarning there was a message for cancellation of the order and refund processed with mention of reason that customer denied for open delivery (which is a complete farce). Now it says that the refund will be processed by 25 Oct.
We have made multiple calls to Flipkart Customer Care Service but they are of no help, even their ‘senior desk’ is of no assistance. Their solution is order another phone.
This is a very big scam to use customers money for 15 days, use it for god knows what purpose and then abruptly cancel their orders. There has to be some legal mechanism or law to curb the same. Was this information helpful? |
