[Resolved]  vodaphone India — worst customer service

Worst ever experience with Vodaphone India I am using Vodaphone 3G service from last 3 months. I bought my SIM card from Punjab and used my 3G services mostly in Gujarat. For work related I travelled to Bangalore and my 3G stopped working, even though 3G is available in Bangalore. I went to Vodaphone store in Bangalore. The weird reason they gave me: “ I should have micro SIM card as regular SIM cannot support 3G data plan. I tolf them I am using my 3G from last three months and as per them vodaphone has policy that I support regular SIM onlt for few months (can you belive this answer)”. It looks Vodaphone is not providing any training to their staff. Then I started calling 198 customer service number. And I got following responses: 1. I need to call [protected] to update my phone setting. But I asked them how it was working before and they had no idea. 2. I did recharge for INR 150 thinking to get 2G data and I sccept my mistake that I by mistake used wrong amount and I didn’t able to get internet plan activate and instead I got INR130 talk time. 3. I called customer service 198 at around 1:30 pm 16th October 2014. The person at the customer service just hanged up the phone without satisfying my request. I even asked him to lodge my complaint and he didn’t bother to hear me. 4. I called again in 2 minutes and I spoke with another customer support person and he told me that I should now user *444 *97 # to get 300 mb of 3G plan. He assured my that after my plan is activated I should call [protected] from another number to change setting. As per him I should choose IDEA as network option. 5. I tried this and it didn’t work. I then again called to 198 number I got Parveen or Pardeep on line. He told me he will look into this and put me on hold with Vodaphone advertisements and phone got disconnected after ad was over. 6. I then try to call 198 5-6 times but I got the response that services are not available at this time. 7. I then called [protected] again and this service keeps going into loop and I am not able to get hold of any customer service person that can support me. Can Vodaphone answer me if they give any training to their staff? Can you explain who is going to reply and fix my 3G in Bangalore or refund my money so that I should move to Airtel or IDEA and any other service. Regards Karanbir Singh
