Purchased Taigun on 4th July 2025. Assured "German Engineering" & proactive service,
Reality: Zero service reminders. For both free services, I had to chase the dealer, endure missed pickup and face staff apathy. Enginee noise complaints were dismissed as "normal"
ON 5th May 2026, car suffered total drive loss at Begumpet, Hyderabad a mid of huge traffic in the late evening at just 11, 500 kms, VW service now demanded payment for clutch replacement, citing "Wear & Tear" on a 10 month old vehicle under warranty.
Mutliple owners reported identical premature clutch failures- a clear manufacturing defect, not customers abuse, Instead of a recall, VW penalising the customers.
Demanding :
1. Justification for charging under warranty.
2. full refund, and an assurance that such things will not be charged in future.
3. Accountability for selling defective components.
