[Resolved]  W Associates (http://wassoc.in) — Credit Card Fraud claiming as SBI Customer Care Executives

Hi, I got a call on 24/Sep/2014 from [protected] introducing themselves as SBI Customer Care executive. They have informed me that they are issuing a new card to me, something called as VIP card along with some additional benefits. They have given all the details related to my card like Points my card, Address as in my card, Registered email address, etc., . I am not sure how they got all those details. They have mentioned my last 4 digits of the card and asked me to confirm my 16 digit card number, CVV number. And also with my overlook i even passed on the One Time Password to them and they made a transaction of Rs. 7799 (for w associates - http://wassoc.in). I immediately called SBI CustomerCare and they confirmed that no such calls are made by SBI. So, I asked those guys to cancel the transaction and they have given me a reference number as[protected] along with an alternative contact number [protected]. I am not sure what that reference number means, i asked them and they simply said I can use that with them to track things. This is a purely a fraud or misleading call and I was trapped into as they gave all the details of the card correctly. From the last couple of days i was repeatedly calling them on the above mentioned numbers and today after repeated calls they informed me that the transaction is cancelled and the amount is refunded back into my account. But, I still do not see that amount refunded back into my account. After all this happened when I read through http://cybercrimecomplaints.com and I see many reporting about the same company in the recent few months. I tracked their mobile numbers using some online website and found that they are operating from Delhi. Also, i feel that they are targeting South Indians primarily as it is tough for us to reach till Delhi and trace them. Please consider this as a complaint and process it further and let me know how I can get the money refunded.
