WebSpaceKit Auto-Renewed My Domain and Charged $57 Without Proper Notice or Authorization
Complaint Details:
I am writing to file a complaint against WebSpaceKit for auto-renewing my domain and charging $57 USD from my debit card without proper alert or user confirmation.
They did send an invoice via email on June 16th, 2025, stating that $57 would be charged automatically on July 11th, 2025. However, I was completely unaware of this because my email storage was full, and I never saw that notification. As a result, the transaction happened without me realizing it.
I believe this process is unfair and non-transparent for the following reasons:
I never clearly opted into auto-renewal or knowingly saved my card for future charges.
No SMS or alternate notification was sent.
There was no active confirmation or opt-out opportunity before the money was deducted.
$57 is a significant amount, especially for international users like me (I am from Pakistan), and this sudden charge caused financial stress.
I immediately contacted WebSpaceKit support and requested a refund, but I have received no resolution yet.
I respectfully request:
1. A full refund of $57
2. Written confirmation that auto-renewal is disabled
3. Removal of my saved payment method from their system
4. Improved customer alert system for future users
I have attached the invoice screenshot for reference. This issue needs to be addressed immediately, and I will continue raising awareness on other platforms if no proper action is taken.
