I applied for Malta work visa through Willow Overseas On 30 September 2024, they gave me a job offer letter from a company called "Peneloppe Group" claiming that this company is hiring me in Malta.
Willow Overseas was unable to process the Malta work visa, so they decided to send me to Malta on a Tourist visa. However, my visa has been refused by the Malta embassy. and I paid ₹30, 000, for Visa Processing, Malta Embassy visa fee of ₹8886 for VFS Global and ₹2355 for VFS Global appointment booking. However, upon verification, I found that:
1. The company "Peneloppe Group" Website Investigation: The website domain is registered in Chandigarh, India, and not in Malta & Canada
2. The website mentioned in the offer letter is fake and after further investigation, I found out that the Malta address and contact email of Peneloppe company are also fake.
3. The documents given to me by Willow Overseas Company for tourist visa were also fake. Due to which the embassy refused to give me the visa.
Realizing that I was scammed, I started calling Willow Overseas demanding a refund, as per their agreement. However, they are now ignoring my calls and refusing to refund my money.
The names of the people who got trapped in this fraud along with me are Sudip Subimal Dey & Subimal Haripada Dey whose total amount of ₹143, 822 is still with Willow Overseas Company, which is giving false assurances for the last 6 months, and when we talk about returning the money, Willow Overseas Company is not responding.
