Subject: Complaint against Mr. Sundar Singh of Woodland Logistics for Fraudulent and Unprofessional Transport Services
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Mr. Sundar Singh of Woodland Logistics, having the contact number [protected], and office located at Gala No. 5, Khairani Road, Sakinaka, Andheri East, Mumbai–72 (near Lucky Hotel).
On [insert date], I contacted various logistics companies for transporting my household items from Ghansoli (Navi Mumbai) to Ratnagiri. Mr. Sundar Singh quoted ₹5, 000, claiming this would cover the entire transport cost. I specifically requested that he visit my location before finalizing the quotation, but he refused, assuring me that ₹5, 000 was sufficient.
Since I was in a hurry, I agreed. His team was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 PM, but they reached only at midnight (12:00 AM). After collecting all my materials, without prior consultation or approval, Mr. Singh sent me a revised bill of ₹14, 000, threatening that if I failed to pay, the loaded material would be dumped. He claimed additional costs were incurred for transporting flower pots in a separate tempo. Under pressure, I negotiated and paid ₹12, 000.
The consignment was supposed to be delivered the same day, as the distance between Mumbai and Ratnagiri is about 300 km. However, it took four days for the delivery to be completed. During this period, Mr. Singh was extremely rude and uncooperative whenever I called for updates.
Upon delivery, I discovered that one table was missing. When I contacted him, Mr. Singh confirmed that the table was mistakenly left behind and assured me it would be delivered soon. Despite multiple follow-ups over two weeks, he has failed to return the item. Every time I call, he gives false assurances (“today, tomorrow, day after”) and has now started using abusive language. Most recently, he stated he would deliver the item on the highway and that I must collect it myself, even though the agreed service was door-to-door delivery.
This conduct is highly unprofessional, unethical, and amounts to harassment. Woodland Logistics, under the management of Mr. Sundar Singh, has demonstrated misrepresentation, extortion, delay, and verbal abuse.
I request you to kindly:
Take strict action against Mr. Sundar Singh and Woodland Logistics for their fraudulent and abusive practices.
Direct them to deliver my missing table immediately or compensate me for the same as per insurance terms.
Initiate necessary consumer protection proceedings and penalize the company for unfair trade practices.
