Dear sir,
I am writing this mail due to an incident happened with me few days back due to which i have lost my money of around rs.9600 in an online fraud.
I received a call from[protected] on 6th march 2017, she was a tellecaller girl named shivani from www.fashion2hub.com. she told me that if i purchased any product from "combo offer" or "deal of the day offer" then i could win a assured price from website due to their promotional offer. I purchased a ray ban sunglasses from "deal of the day" offer section after confirming with the telle caller that whether it is original ray ban or not, but she said we have company guarantee and i can return if anything like this happens; and i paid rs.699 from my american express credit card through pay portal of payu retail pg gurgoan. During the whole process the telle caller was online on phone. I confirmed the online payment to her over the phone only. Then she said i will receive a call from gift department.
After two days i received a call from that gift department on 7th march and he said i have won a dell inspiron laptop worth rs.59900. If i want this gift then i have to make the payment of tax amount which is around 15% of the laptop value. I was confused but that telle caller named mahesh told that tax amount i have to bear because company is giving free promotional gift. I resisted first by saying that i was assured earlier that i would not have to pay anything and gift is absolutely free. I was pretty much convinced after that i will get this laptop, so i make the online payment of rs.8990 to the link sent to me via message by telle caller. That was the protal of just dial pg gurgoan. Its screenshot is also attached. I was told that now dispatch team will call me and confirm everything.
Till that time i was convinced that i have won this gift and i will receive that laptop, but after one day i received a call from dispatch team and he now again demanded courier and insurance charges. He told that there are options from few companies namely aramex, bluedart, dhl with chages rs.7600, rs.11500, rs.17000 respectively. I told that i do not want to have this gift and refund my payment of rs.8990. I also told him that the ray ban sunglasses which i have selected earlier was received duplicate quality. He suddenly refused to do anything and said to me that i have to make the payment of courier charges or the money will be forfeited. I told him to first replace the duplicate sunglasses then i will pay the courier charges but he refused that also. I called the helpline number displayed on the website but the telle caller there shouted at me very badly and threatened me by saying that "paise to nai milenge, jo karna hai kar le". I requested to him that please refund my money i don't want any gift but nothing happened. Telle caller was abusing me so badly and disconned the phone. I called them so many times but they neither pick up not they called back. I called them from another number as well but as soon as i complained they disconnect the phone.
I came to know about these email ids from internet. Please help me. These persons are daily looting money from persons like me. Please advice me where i can complain further if necessary.
