I received a message stating that, my resume has been shortlisted from naukri. And they want to give me a WFH job as a freelancing.

They demanded me money as a security deposit against the confirmation of job which they are providing. Basically they tried to scam me out.
They asked for sum of rs 2060 and rs 3090.

I request the naukri department to book a complain against these kind of scammers under cybercrime and help me out. So that in future they can’t thug innocent people like me for money.

Please file an FIR against them under cybercrime.

I have attached the screenshot of the same. The whole conversation is recorded in txt message of whatsapp.

Similar Incident happened with me.. Today I got a message from Bhavna Sharma[[protected]], from Xcomteck. Firstly they will use Naukri portal . Whomever had applied in their jobs alert, they will recieve a message from WhatsApp or Telegram. With no formal way, they will post the same messages everywhere. The very moment, I asked about company locations, its CIN number along with GST details. She started coughing and told me that her senior will come and give that details after sometime I pinged her, I got some ### response from her side, showing me very old bank bank statements and all. I tried to get more details about the company from her, she refused to share . The address which she shared for the company location is fake. I know even her identity working there would be fake too. So guys, eVERY COMPany which is asking money be it from any portal, do not trust them. Ask every questions about the company go through the company skin it out. And share if possible where people can see the cases and frauds. Happening.
