We have been following up with Dell Technical Support for the past 3 months regarding a camera issue, and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
During this period, there has been no consistency or ownership of the issue. One support agent advised us to reset the laptop, which was done. Another insisted on running multiple troubleshooting sessions, during which we spent 2–3 hours on calls without any meaningful resolution.
Eventually, logs were collected from the laptop, only for the team to later claim that the logs were incorrect and ask us to reinstall the OS again — a step that has already been performed multiple times during previous troubleshooting.
I have been patient and have followed every instruction provided by Dell support. However, it is unacceptable that after all this effort, we are still being asked to repeat the same steps instead of moving toward a resolution.
The laptop is under warranty, yet no effort has been made to arrange an on-site technician or provide a proper fix. This level of support is highly unprofessional and frustrating. Was this information helpful? |
