Hi team,
I am Baskar from Salem in tamilnadu. I have purchased Yamaha FZ V3 in June 2020. For last three months I am facing brake failure issue. When i checked with my dealer, they said ABS motor failed. While asking them the root cause, they said it is a manufacturer defect of the vehicle and also most of the FZ V3 users are facing this issue .Since most of the users of FZ V3 facing this issue - can it be ignored ? Also they are saying it will cost around Rs. 14000 for replacement. When it is a manufacturer defect why i need to pay it for replacement? Brake failure is a serious issue and it occurred randomly which is a threat for consumers. Please look into this and replace my ABS motor ASAP for free since it was not our fault.
