YLG, Bharathi City Mall, Bangalore, Yellhanak — Request for card validity extension

My name is Soppadandi Kavya, and my mobile number is [protected]. My salon card number is [protected].

On 21st February 2026, I visited the salon for a facial service at Bharathy City Mall, Yelahanka. During my visit, I was informed that my card had expired.

However, I have not received any prior communication or notification from the salon regarding the expiry of the card. There was no information provided about the expiry date or any instructions to block the card if it was not being used. There is still a significant balance amount remaining on the card.

I had a sufficient balance remaining on the card, which would have allowed me to utilize the services for up to six months.

Due to serious medical emergencies in my family — including my brother’s heart surgery, the unfortunate passing of my younger brother, and my child being hospitalized for two weeks — I had to travel multiple times between Bangalore and Hyderabad and stay there for extended periods. Because of these unavoidable health-related situations, I was unable to utilize the services.

When I recently visited the salon, your executives informed me that the card had expired. It is the salon’s responsibility to inform customers in advance before the card expires. Without prior intimation, declaring the card expired is not fair to the customer.

I am working as an IT employee, and I trust your services. Saloon is expecting me to recharge again without allowing me to use the remaining balance feels very disappointing. I would like to utilize the existing balance first, and only then consider topping up the card.

I kindly request that you extend the validity of my card for another 6 months so that I can use the remaining balance.

I look forward to your understanding and a positive resolution.

Your executive, manager, or someone else from the store has informed me that the card is going to expire and needs to be blocked. frame the sentence.

They said that the girl who provides the service is on leave for 3 months, due to which they were unable to call. That's not my problem, correct, it's the store's problem.

Neither your executive nor your manager nor anyone else from the store informed me that the card was going to expire or that it needed to be blocked in advance.
