My name is Swapna Priya K., and my husband name is Yegna Venkata Surya Praveen Koripalli. We are currently residing in Sindhanur town of Raichur District in Karnataka state. We have a son of 10-years-old studying in 5th standard in Daffodils Concept School.
In the month of January the school approached us provide documents like Birth certificate, TC of my son and Adhaar of my son & us parents as well to register him in APAAR website as per GOI guidelines. And they said we have to provide these within March 2025 for them to complete the registration process of the kid.
However, we could not complete the registration because his name had a spelling error in his Adhaar card. When we went to update this ADHAAR card we were asked to produce Birth certificate and either of the parents ADHAAR. We failed to update his name in ADHAAR because both mine & my husband’s name is different on the birth certificate compared to the names that are on ADHAAR.
The names printed on Birth Certificate are Mother’s name as - K Swapna Priya where as in Adhaar it is Swapna Priya K. And father’s name as KYVS Praveen where as in Adhaar it is Yegna Venkata Surya Praveen Koripalli.in the face of this situation, we decided to get the names corrected in the birth certificate.
My son was born on 3rd October 2014 in Hyderabad city in Omega Hospitals. Hence, the Birth certificate is issues by GHMC, Hyderabad. As said earlier we are currently residing in Karnataka and we both are working parents. So we decided to take services from any consultation agency who could help with the birth certificate updation.in this process we came across Zill Services website in Google and contacted them on [protected] and spoke to Mr. Yaswanth & detailed him our requirements. We have shared our Adhaar cards, Voter ID, PAN cards & Birth certificate soft copies for his referral. On the following day he confirmed that he could help with our requirement and said that the total charges are Rs. 6500/- of which we must pay 5000 /- immediately to begin the work. We have also submitted school affidavit certificate from the school to him. We have share these soft copies over whatsapp.
Before agreeing him to pay we clearing mentioned the urgency of our requirement and asked him how much time would it take for the certificate updation by GHMC. Mr. Yaswanth said it would take 10-15 days from the day we make payment.
Rs. 5000/- was transferred to the number [protected]. Mr. Yaswanth provided this number and he said this number is of a person named Ms. Supriya & she is her employee. WE have made the payment via phonepe with transaction ID – T2502051026161431456888 on 4th Feb 2025. Mr. Yaswanth committed that he would provide us with updated certificate by 14th Feb if delayed it could be by 17th Feb 2025.
We contacted him on 14th Feb, we tried to call him but he never received our phone calls and on whatsapp he replied that it would take a week more to complete the task. Again when we asked he said by March 10th. During this whole process HE NEVER RESPONSED TO OUR PHONE CALLS & NEVER THERE WAS PROACTIVE UPDATION TO US ON THE WORK. HE ONLY RESPONDED ON WHATSAPP AND THAT AT HIS AVAILABLE TIME & NOT WHEN WE PING HIM.
We got anxious as the school gave us March end as deadline to provide the documents and here this person appeared as not so trust worthy. Hence we demanded for refund on 28th Feb. He said he would refund the money. However till date he did not refund our money & every time we try to reach him he never responds to calls & on whatsapp also he stopped responding promptly.
We realized that we mostly got cheated and in this process we had gone through the online reviews on Zill services. Most of them are similar to our case. We really repent for not checking the reviews before making payment to him.
This whole thing had put us under lot of mental stress and anxious situation as this is related to my son’s future in education.
