I had booked my tickets for travel between Dubai to Mangalore on Air India express on the 2nd of June and the due date for travel was in October. Due to change in plans. i had to cancel my tickets on August 22nd and was told that the amount would be refunded back to me within 14 days time.
However, after 2 weeks, i.e 4th of September, 2013 I got a strange reply from Air India mentioning that the ticket amount had already been refunded on the 2nd of August. We sent them a reminder on the 12th of September, 29th September, 30th September, October 5, October 9, October 23rd, November 12th, November, 28th and today December 23rd.
All I get in response is that they are following up on this. I wonder if they take so long to get a refund, do they also wait so long for their passengers to pay for their tickets. If so want to make a booking and will pay only after 6 months. Was this information helpful? |
