As per my knowledge Air India Express online booking is not working for the past two weeks. Several contact numbers published on web are either not working or not attended. I got in touch with their office and they said online booking is not working due to some problem in the website due to 100 Rs. ticket bug of AI. They asked me to come to office and book it. I am not interested since going there, taking a token and return journey is few hours.
When I got frustrated I booked my family tickets through Emirates changing route.
I am still trying to book DxB-Mangalore ticket online. After all details filled including credit card, payment process fails and I am experiencing it for almost two weeks now. I wrote to customer service and several contacts I found on AIE. No body seems to be interested in solving this small time booking software issue! Though India is IT hub.
Today I tried Make my trip and I got my same ticket on first attempt(Though they charge 30 AED/ticket) compared to half a dozen attempt with AIE Home website for two weeks.
I am now doubting the reason behind not repairing the online ticket booking. How other agencies, travel agents and AIE offices can book ticket and not a common man. Is it because of some other reason?
Being citizen of India I am disappointed the way national carrier providing services to its citizen. Mind you most of the time DxB-Mangalore ticket price of AIE is too expensive compared to non budget airlines for the distance. Was this information helpful? |
