Amazon India — Refund not cleared by amazon | |||||
I bought a saree from amazon (seller is dharmi dresses) in Dec 2016. After 2 days they send the same product again and my family member pay the bill by cash . Very next day I placed a return order in amazon and they gave me several pickup time. But till the date nobody came to pickup the product. Amazon sent me a cheque of rs 1099/- from Deutsch bank, Bangalore, a/c no-[protected], cheque no: 841238. I got the cheque in 15/01/17 and deposited the same in a/c no:[protected] naming udita pandit. Unfortunately a/c was closed since 08/2013. Idbi bank salt lake branch returned the cheque because of a/c closed. But amazon is demanding that cheque has cleared on 18/01/17. Several times I have send mail and talk with customer care regarding this prob and asked them, how could be a cheque cleared in a closed a/c. Idbi has given the closed a/c statement and they are clear that no amount credited in that a/ c, but amazon is not ready to pay the amount nor they are ready to produce any statement regarding this clearance..my contact no is [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||||
