Amazon.in — Payment taken but order not confirmed | |||||
I am really disappointed today with Amazon.in. I placed an order for OnePlus 2 (Sandstone Black, 64GB) & B2X Protect for OnePlus 2 since yesterday through your open sale. 25th Nov- I tried making payment yesterday however my internet got disconnected and payment could not get completed. I received an e-mail from you guys stating “Payment revision needed”. I clicked on the link and payment was successful for which I received SMS from my bank as well. To my surprise “Your Order”[protected] &[protected] section showed in red “Payment revision needed”; for which I called up your helpline at least 5 times yesterday. Each time the executive said that we have received the payment and my order will be shipped between 27th to 30th Nov (E-mail sent by your executive Sandeep B. Today morning I received an e-mail again saying that my order is cancelled and payment refunded. I was shocked to see this as I was expecting this order by 28th on eve of my Wife’s birthday. I called up your helpline and spoke to your leadership executive Kahini; she said due to technical glitch the order couldn’t be processed and asked me to make fresh order and give me Rs. 500/- gift voucher as good will gesture; which I appreciated and agreed for. 26th Nov- I made fresh order[protected] &[protected] and I received e-mail from you saying my payment is declined; whereas SMS sent by bank that payment received. I called up again on your helpline and spoke to another leadership person this time the manager Priti. She said that payment is received by Amazon and again due to technical glitch the order could not be processed. But today when I placed the order for 2 mins “Your Order” section showed “Payment revision needed” but surprisingly after 2 mins this changed to “Order received” (screenshot attached) and after another 15 mins this changed back to “Payment revision needed”. So, by this is Amazon only trying to increase their website/app hits by creating the hype and not actually delivering the product. Really sad.
