Aqua Care — fake amc for aquaguard water purifier

I had purchased an aquaguard water purifier and the 1st year was approaching when i received a call from this company saying my aquaguard is due for service and it has to be serviced. The filter was indeed due for service and i requested them to come over. They came home and changed the filter very professionally and told me that the amc for 3 years is 5530/- but for 1 year, it would be 2500/-. Hence i took an annual amc and paid using my credit card. Just a week later, to my shock, i am getting another call from eureka forbes that my water filter is due for service. When i explained to them that i have already taken the service, they adviced me that i have been duped. I am trying to contact this help line and no response.

Very unfortunate that such fraud companies are easily cheating consumers for the past several years and the government is comfortably giving them licenses to run their business and unable to stop. Thanks ranga [protected]
