[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz — Bajaj Allianz Car Insurance cheating/ Fraud by surveyor

I bought car insurance from Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company in Oct Feb 2013 and recently my car met with an accident where my car's front door and rear left door got partially damaged. On 28nd Oct 2014, I gave my car in Toyota (infinium Toyota) shop in S.G.Hoghway, Ahmedabad for repair where the body shop engineer told me that both doors and another supporting body part will need to be replaced looking at the damage. I filled up the claim form as required and submitted all documents to them. I was told that the insurance surveyor will survey the car on 29th Oct. I didn’t receive any message from Bajaj Allianz about the claim No. On 30th, I called insurance surveyor (Khemchand) saying that they will be not accepting claim for one door (front) and said that the glass is not damage. He said to me door was repairable and as per companies professional mechanic (Toyota engineer) it’s not repairable. Then Mr.khemchand told me that let them try to repairs once it not repairable I will approve for replacement. Which feels like you are talking to some grocery shop for bargain. This is not first time I faced issue, its my 2nd time Ill face issue with the surveyor. I am not sure why such insurance company do this to their customer and would talk big while selling the insurance but would make hundreds excuses at the time of claim. I am extremely DISAPPOINTED and being HARRASED with such behavior of company representatives to use any mean to avoid paying their customers. Even while talking to surveyor, he said that "I DON’T HAVE TIME, CALL ME TOMORROW", I mean how the heck is this related to me? This is the first time I am taking insurance for my car in last 1 year and have to hear such examples???? At present I am getting a response that the surveyor is again visiting the garage and will again confirm to me about damage and approval amount. I feel they are doing all their efforts to fool their customers, make delays so that we feel helpless and then pay by our pockets for the repair. Strong actions should be taken against such companies by auditing their process and their behaviors towards their customers.

Ya even i am facing the same problem now. They don't provide higher authority number to talk and get clarified.
I too faced the same problem with Bajaj Allianz.They have a nexus with the service centre.My car Toyota corolla met with an accident. Immediately called the insurance company and gave all relevant papers. The surveyor just sat on it. He was trying to make a profit out of our misery.Even after 10 days no report was forthcoming from them. He never answered my calls nor replied to my message. Finally, I sold my car to a scrap dealer. Lesson learnt that NEVER GO TO BAJAJ ALLIANZ FOR ANY INSURANCE
