I regret joining the Blue Mountain resort and hospitality membership program, which I bought from Bhavika Dhabuwala, a sales executive of the company. She promised me that I would get a 7-day free stay anywhere in the world in any season, and a complimentary 3-day/4-night trip to a water villa in Maldives with transportation included. She showed me some brochures and testimonials of satisfied customers and convinced me that this was a great deal. But after I paid the full amount of Rs. 3 lakhs, she changed her words and said that she only offered me 2 days in a beach villa and 1 day in a water villa in Maldives, and I had to pay extra Rs. 40, 000 for the speed boat transportation. She also said that this was mentioned in the fine print of the contract, which I had not read carefully. I felt cheated but I had no choice, so I accepted the complimentary trip and paid for the transportation. After completing my trip, which was not as good as I expected, I asked them to provide me with a list of hotels that they could offer me for my future travels, but they said they could not give me the whole list and asked me to tell them which country I wanted to visit. I asked them for a list of hotels in Europe, as I had always wanted to go there, but they said they could not provide me with any hotels in Europe and I could only use my membership in Asian countries. They said this was also mentioned in the contract, which was not true. Then I asked them for a list of hotels in Thailand, as it was an Asian country, but they said they did not have any tie-up with Thailand and they had mentioned this in their terms and conditions on their website, which I had not checked. They always gave me false promises and cheated innocent people like me. They did not have any fear of the law and challenged me to do anything against them. They said they had many lawyers and connections and they could easily escape any legal action.
