[Resolved] Paramount Villas Pvt. Ltd. — Demanding Illegal Interest Amount | |
Dear Sir/Ma'am, First of all thanks for this online consumer complaint facility, I bought a villa from Paramount Villas Pvt. Ltd. on 19th March, 2012, till date, 85 percent payment has been done and 10 Percent is in processing, but now in last demand letter they applied Rs. 32550/- as a penalty interest in account of late payments, although it is wrong. I am paying my home loan payment to PGF (Paramount Golf Foreste) through Axis bank. Initial at the time of booking (Dt. 19-3-12) I made a Payment of Rs. 9,66,810 /- to builder, for the next payment they send me another demand letter of dated 19-4-12, of Rs. 13,47,169/- and this payment was done on Dt. 26/4/12 through Axis bank as per my bank statement (Home loan account no. PHR[protected]. Next they send me another demand letter of Dt. 20/8/2012 of Rs. 4,98,342/- and I immediately forward this demand letter to bank for disbursal, but Axis bank did not disburse the payment due to an FIR againt PGF in Allahabad High Court. Simultaneously other banks also did the same thing. And It was a very serious issue, that time, I did calls to paramount and they assured me that everything will be alright soon, I was so worried, because my all assets has been used to buy this property. Later on after some clarifications bank disbursed the payment on 16 Nov. 2012 after approx 3 months later. Details of FIR are below : Case :- WRIT - C No. - 29251 of 2012 Petitioner :- M/S Paramount Villas Pvt. Ltd. Respondent :- Union Of India Thru Its Secy. And Others Petitioner Counsel :- Ashwani K. Misra For this issue I talked/Visit/email to Paramount Guys so many times and also send a letter to him, now they send me a mail within statement stated demand of Rs. 27938/-, which is also wrong, I have all the proof in form of letter, email, demand letter etc. against this company. I always try to send the payment on or before time, I know their demand is completely wrong, and they did not mentioned any kind of penalty interest earlier given demand letters, suddenly they are demanding it. So, I request you to please help me to remove this penalty interest against Paramount Villas Pvt. Ltd. I will be highly oblige of you for the same. same is my case. my villa is a 205 sneha singh. i had stopped the payment when i heard that there is a stay by court on this project. till that i had already paid more than 75% as per their demand. after this i had written more than 10 mails that payment will be made only when i get a written confirmation that there is no dispute.
till date they have not answered by mails and now they have sent a demand letter with penal interest charged in account. again after receving this letter i mailed them that my payment is ready and before this i want to know the status of the project which i dont know why they are not answering.
i even visited their site and there was no one was ready to speak anything abt the stay of the project by the court. i think they are cheating with their customers and not telling the thruth.
i requedt through to pls waive of the interest and tell us the current stauts so that we can make further payment

I have a unit in block-D. Despite of repeated reminders and concerned raised,
there has been no reply from the builder and after visiting the site; I
learned; they charged me with the demand few months back for which the work
still to be completed!!
Till now 95% of the payment has been done.
The people responsible for construction started giving me lame reasons. For few
units, the paint work started where as in my unit the plaster was incomplete
and flooring work has still not started.
After hearing their part I made a complaint to Surajpur police station.
The pictures of incomplete work have been sent to the builder and all of their
commitments and status have been proved wrong. As per the booking, I was
supposed to get the possession in Jan'14 but they are like 13 months behind as
per the latest work progress.

Exactly the same case for my villa C-62. Due to the court issue. Banks stopped disbursing and builder has now put heavy Penality for that. I have send numerous reminders during 4 years but got no commitment from their side. They are just doing what they wish. The project already delayed by 12~13 months. Kindly advise as it is hard earned money.

I also own a villa (E-220) in Paramount Golfforeste project and facing similar problem from the builder. After I received the "Letter for Offer of Possession", I demanded to show me the completion certificate and occupancy certificate. They had been non-responsive to my queries regarding this (I had sent them 9 e-mails on the subject) and I deliberately delayed my last payment due to their indifference. However, finally I have paid all the amount including the maintenance charge (in advance for one year and PDC for the second year with effect from 15th August 2015 as mentioned in the letter for offer of possession).
Now they have charged me interest on delayed last payment and also did not processed my possession due to non-payment of the interest. In fact, from April 2015 to November 2015, I was completely in dark why I am not getting my possession. I came to know about the reason only when I called up their customer service.
Recently I contacted their customer service and they told me that the maintenance charge is being applied on my villa effective from 15the August 2015, even though they did not give me possession.
I strongly feel that the builder "Paramount Villas Pvt. Ltd" act as per their wish not by any ethics or any law. They are completely indifferent about Consumer Rights. I also all the consumers should fight them together to get a good end result.

my villa is a205 and today they have given a notice for cancelling the villa and chargef 1 lacs as interest.for delay payment whereas the total project was stopped by court
i had asked them for few clarification as i have already paid 75 % of my hard earned money but non of my question is been answered by them.
i request you to please remove the penalty as i had paid all my payment on
time and after knowing that there is a stay on the project i stopped the payment and asked
for a written confirmation which they are still not giving.
