[Resolved]  Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority — Refund of EMD of Rs 75000/- in respect of Harita Project at Madhurawada Visakhapatnam

Sub.: EMD of Rs 75000/- not paid by VUDA till date.


It is to inform you that, I got housing allotment in Harita Housing Project Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam vide VUDA Proceedings NO. A No.1939/MIG-1B/Harita/G6 dated 19.02.10 ( A copy of allotment letter is attached herewith for your immediate reference). Due to some problems I was decided to take EMD. In this connection I requested VUDA to refund EMD on 17.03.2010 which is sent to VUDA in ordinary post. Since, I am not having acknowledgement, VUDA refused to refund the deposit amount since my refund request letter was not entered in their records. When I approach VUDA, the concerned officer told me that we have not received your request letter within 30 days. Hence, it is not possible to refund the said deposit amount. Subsequently on 20/11/2010 also I have written a letter to The Vice Chairman, VUDA requesting to refund my EMD. This letter sent thru courier and attached herewith a copy of letter alongwith courier receipt.

If my EMD is forfeited, then why they have issued another letter bearing NO. RC No. 6/09/Harita/G6 dated 9/3/2010 ( A copy of the letter is attached herewith for your immediate reference).

VUDA is supposed to give support to poor and middle class people. But, it is acting differently. It is giving support to only RICH persons in the society.

However, I humbly request you to kindly arrange my EMD refund of Rs. 75,000/-
immediately.
