i dont think merely discussing on the forum or sending email to icici customer care would solve the problem,every customer whenever face should register their complain with banking ombudsman in india core dot nic dot in is the site u can search on google by typing banking ombudsman in india. and take a legal course to solve this issue anyone reading this message is requested to spread this msg as much as possible as there are laws for everything and registering complain online is hassle free too ....

ICICI direct - ACTIVATION OF DEMAT ACCOUNT

I opened a Demat Account with ICICI Direct in 2005 and then I was transferred. Since last three years I am trying to activate my account, inspite of my continuous efforts.

The procedures for handling one's own account are very complex and complicated. There is absolutely no guidance provided to the customer. ICICIdirect.com, the website, does not provide for any method of communicating with the bank. There are no contact addresses given. Link to Customer Services only leads one to thousands of other products.

The bank should consider to reduce the number...

ICICI direct - OPENING OF DEMAT ACCOUNT

I AM WAITING FOR 1.5 MONTHS FOR OPENING A DEMAT A/C IN ICICI DIRECT. ONLINE A/C OPENING STATUS OF APP.NO. 9002043951 IS STILL SHOWING UNDER PROCESS.
BUT WHEN I VISITED ICICI BANK AT PANIPAT BRANCH I CAME TO KNOW THAT MY APPLICATION TO OPEN DEMAT IS REJECTED DUE TO PAN, AS IT WAS NOT VERIFIED AT NSDL SITE BY ICICI DIRECT AUTHORITIES.
SIR I HAVE CHECKED MYSELF AT NSDL SITE & FOUND THAT MY PAN AGNPP3766H WAS VERIFIED UNDER MY NAME i.e SANTOSH KUMAR PANDEY.
IT IS FRAUD ON PART OF ICICI DIRECT AS SAYING THAT PAN IS NOT BEING VERIFIED BY NSDL.
SO REQUESTED TO TAKE NECESSARY...

If you are thinking about to open a account in icici direct then please change your decision because of their Very very very very poor service of them. 3 month back I also applied for the icici direct but every time they reject my application form, which is really very bad. Since 2 month over but the account opening processes is still going on. Through my friend I also find out that they have login problem also, always the login page server is down, so you couldn’t think off trade in a right time and at right price. 2 days back I applied for angel broking in main branch, they opened my account...

Respected Sir,

I have applied for ICICI direct Dmat cum trading account vide application 9001794384 in the month of Oct 2007 at ICICI Direct, Salt Lake, AF block, Kolkata and till date neither the account has been opened nor the proper reply has been received from the concern authority of ICICI direct.

At last, I have received the foul reply from Service Quality, ICICI direct on 20 May 2008 as the form along with my cheque, copy of credit card, stamp paper agreement was missed during transit. Therefore, I am planning to lodge a police complaint for misplacement...

Dear Sir,

With ref. to the captioned I had applied for opening of my Demat account through Tilak Road, Pune Branch. For application and documents an executive by name of Ms. Pooja met me and collected all forms and documents
i.e. A) Copy of passport and B) Copy of my PAN card on the 13th Jan, 08.
I had asked if the account can be opened urgently to which she said it can be done and she will inform the status in a day's time.

I am holding a Demat account with ICICI Direct with client ID 8500530815. Today when I have tried to login into their trading site, my login was not allowed with the reason "Pursuant to our letter dated March 23, 2009 and earlier communication by us, regarding re-submission of your ICICI Direct Account Opening Forms, your account has been temporarily deactivated. Please contact the nearest ICICIdirect hub or Call Center for further assistance.". When I tried to contact two of the nos 011-41579156,

ICICI direct - Account Opening Form

ICICI Direct has approached me again to submit my account opening form, failing to do so they have said that they will de-activate my trading and DMAT account. This is the second time they are asking me to re-submit the account opening form in the last 4 years. They keep loosing my details and ask me to sign the forms and submit all the proofs again. I am tired of doing this one, i want SEBI to take strong action against them....
