I opened a demat account in IL&FS through my broker RKSV. They had a 20 pages account opening form. They took my sign on an ECS clearing form and the reason that was given to me was "To get my approval for deduction of demat charges at the time of delivery of shares". Today my bank( Bank of Baroda) has received a confirmation letter from Bill desk in the name of IL&FS for the clearance of ECS of Rs. 1 lakh per month starting from 1st August...
