I went to this highly reputed Chinese restaurant in my city, varanasi, "ming garden" where I had ordered some food to be packed as a take away. The restaurant charged me service tax on the packed food which is wrong. The fundamental basis of charging the service tax is when you provide a service. Me & my friends went to a renowned restaurant Known as Ming Garden, situated in Bhelupura, Varanasi .We ordered for 2 7-up & 5 Pepsi glass bottled cold drinks on which the M.R.P was 15Rs but they but they charged 35Rs per bottle + tax. Please refer to the attachment. And please HELP us....
