Dear Onida Team,

I am writing to formally raise my concern regarding the unresolved issue with my split AC, for which I have now registered three complaints — the first in the first week of May, the second on 24th May, and the most recent on 31st May.

Despite repeated follow-ups and numerous calls to your customer service team, I have yet to receive any response or service. What is even more disappointing...

I purchased a newly branded 3 Star ONIDA, 1.5 Ton Split AC for my Sister Residence at Sreekrishnapuram, Palakkad for their Summer requirement through Flipkart in the month of March and got it delivered at Installed within End of March 2025. We had faced some cooling issues during initial days and later noticed that no Air Flow was also there and raised a complaint to ONIDA Customer Team by the month of April end where the Team responded post multiple calls made thru Customer CARE and Online portal. Post raising the same, a technician visited by May 1st Week and said that FAN in the AC got defective and needs to be replaced which may take 2-3 days time as this needs to be delivered from Thiruvananthapuram or Mumbai.

Holding high patience, we waited almost a month with no call response from the team as well as mail response. On talking to a customer care agent last Week Wednesday who assured me the issue will be solved in a day, while 6 days later, no one even called back to understand the customer situation.

I gifted ONIDA AC to my sister considering the child and parents suffering during Summer while there is no use of the purchase of ONIDA AC as winter itself started. My family member recommended the same LG AC while I personally recommended ONIDA as I'm using the 2 Split AC in Chennai of the same brand for almost 9 years. It became a big internal issue due to the Poor performance and defective product supplied by FLIPKART Team and being unnoticed as well the same from ONIDA Customer care Support.

I got Top management details after multiple struggles to address my issue at earliest either with issue resolving and installing the new BRAND AC at earliest.

Expecting at least a proper response from the ONIDA Top Management @Mr. Vivek Saran & @ Muneeswaran. S in addressing the same.

    I have Onida Microwave oven. It is one of the worst quality product I have ever seen. When it failed, I raised a support request on onida customer care.

    A day after technician visited the house. He did not seem confident. When I told him, convection is not working, he showed me that water is getting heated on microwave heating!
    I told him that magnetron controls microwave heating and that’s fine. What is not working is Convection. Most likely coil is faulty.

    After sometime, he confirmed my speculation that coil is faulty. However when the product is out of warranty, he took out the coil and took it with him. That’s unacceptable. Moreover the working solo oven part of it was now crippled and the entire unit was out of service.

    Every time I called him later, he said, he is yet to check the availability of part. 3 days wasted. Then he said part is not available. Then he said, he will get it from elsewhere.
    Now the part is also not available and they are not coming to reinstate the device to previous working state.
    Escalations did not help. No one called me despite repeated follow-ups with customer care.

    This is last time I am buying Onida product.

    I pray for loss of business, bankruptcy and debacle of Onida as a company.

    They are going to go down the drain. This is my curse to Onida.

      I purchased an AC from Flipkart in May 2024. A week ago, the AC developed a cooling issue, so I contacted Onida customer care for a technician since it is still under the 1-year warranty. The technician visited and informed me that gas refilling would cost ₹3500, to which I agreed. He promised to return the next day, but since then, he has not been answering my calls. I contacted customer care to expedite the resolution, but they closed...

      I’ve purchased a washing machine and it’s under 2 years of warranty. On 8th September 2024 washing machine stopped working and I raised a complaint in Onida and they said a technician will visit in next 48 hours to resolve the issue. Since then I have been waiting and calling numerous times to Onida to send someone to address the issue and no one is bothered. The ticket number is [protected]

        Onida ac menufecturing defect no responce from company

        I was buy onida ac may 2024, indor unit not swing. Menufecturing defect.ac instalation done by third party person because company person bargin for extra mony. Now company person sayed no warnty provide if instalation done by third party. I was submit query online customer care service onida but no responce.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I am very disappointed by the service provided by the Onida team.

          I have purchased a smart tv Onida 80 cm (32 inch) HD Ready LED smart Android TV 2023 ( Order ID - OD[protected].

          We received the Tv on 18th nov 2023 & installed on 20 th nov. but the issue has started after only 4 days of installing, onwards 24th nov. The TV is not working.

          We have filed a complaint - GH[protected] on 25th nov. but till today no one responding to the customer support team is only giving fake promises that we will solve the problem within 48 hours but till now no one has visited to solve the issue.
          As an honest customer & being a patriot to support "Make In India" products, I feel cheated.
          After this scenario I again raised a complaint on 6 Dec. (GH[protected] & got the same false promise that we will solve the issue within 48 hour. but nothing has changed. I again called customer care today ( 23dec 2023) but got a response that the second complaint has been rejected b/c we called three times but you have not picked the phone ( Totally garbage & false story making).

          Please help to resolve this long pending issue.

            I am Himanshu Jain from Noida. My complaint is regarding Your services and service centre.
            I was booked my complaint GH[protected] on 11th July 2023 which still not resolved and advance payment is made to your technician in cash mode Rs.7700 on 20th july 2023 after repair the Pcb pennel but still they are denied that pcb pennel is under testing process.
            I want to know what the process time of repairing a PCB pennel is.
            Ur all staff is making me fool. Is Onida opening a fraud service centre?

              I have purchased Onida AC from Flipkart in March'21
              From last one year my AC stopped working I complained at customer service center Onida but no one came to visit
              After calling for so many times thechnician came in March'23 and said PCB in outdoor need to be replaced
              And again after calling so many times they replaced it on 1st June and charged me 13500 Rs but now again AC stopped working and I am calling them from last 1 month. Now he is not answering my calls
              What do I supposed to do now???
              At time of replacement he said for 3 months warranty and he refused for warranty

                  Mu Onida microwave has a defect. It does not work properly. The issue is intermittent and very difficult to solve.
                  My complaint was pending with Onida for 15 days and they just closed it without any resolution.

                  The technician who was supposed to attend the case went on leave and did not return for a week.
                  They are not providing any commitment to solve the issue.
                  They fool around that they will send a technician but no one visits my house.
                  I opened another complaint which is also not taken up by anyone. I know the mobile number of technician but he is not committed to come and solve the issue.
                  I regret buying Onida product

                    I bought a Onida LED TV where they have provided me a cheap quality. I have never encountered this issue on my LG and Samsung TV. The sound is not working and last month I called to the Onida customer care. The person from Onida came and changed the speaker with a charge of Rs.2500/-. This month again the sound is not working. Getting a huge money and giving us a cheap products is not fair.

                        I got a TV 2 yrs back (Not under warranty).. For unusual reason it was not starting ..
                        Software of the TV got crash .. It was starting in Boot level .. and was asking to insert USB with Software update ..
                        I got the number of the Onida Service center .. he was like this model is old and company don't have the update & this cant can be repaired ..
                        That person even don't know the problem (Uneducated Technician & service center owner Both ), they were like you have to change the full Board, which will cost me 70% of the actual cost of TV .. Seriously ..

                        I am really upset with ONIDA, i am really upset with the services of ONIDA .. Feels like its is the last product from the Brand ONIDA ..

                        They cant even provide support for the products they manufacture / Sale ..

                        Do we have to purchase a new product every time we find a problem with the product .. Why are we going for Brand if they cant provide support !

                        CHEATERS !!

                          I purchased a Aircondition in 2020 and the same was presented for servicing. They took the indoor compartment on 01 March 2023 and till date not returned and not even attending my call. The complaint details are appended

                          I am so sorry that onida may have many 48 hrs, but for me it's one.

                          Many capable technicians are available in the local market and that gentleman think he is the only one.

                          Shame on ONIDA for accepting this type of stupids😡

                          Is any solution to return ny item or you will pay me the scrap value?

                            I purchased an AC ONIDA 1 Ton 5 Star Split Inverter AC - White (IR125ICY1) on 21st of December. for the same product installation I called so many times and after that on 26th of Jan my AC was installed, but after installation when the technician tries to run the AC then it was not working. Then he told me that there is a PCB issue in this unit. so PCB has to be replaced. Now today is the 10th March and there is no status of the PCB. from last month i called onida regularly and they daily told me that they will escalate the problem to Service Team. I bought a new AC and this is the pathetic service provided by onida.

                            If you are handling customers like this then it's very good to shut your worst business.

                                I have purchased this TV a year back there was issues with the Panel and they said its issues with the model and replaced. Now I am facing the same issue and contacted the customer service. They have taken 14 days till now and they are saying the request is not approved and waitign for approval. Contacted the customer care they do not have any clue what need to be done.

                                One of the bad customer service and i totally disappointed with Onida. Very Very bad customer service and support. I will not buy and recommend any of the onida products for buying.

                                  I had bought a ONIDA washing machine on 29 Sep 2022. After few days it stopped working. Then after i had raised a complaint request on the 17th Nov 2022 with request/complaint id 2211T[protected]. Their technician came to inspect the washing machine and after inspecting the machine he told me that one part need to be replaced. Which will be replaced with in 4-5 days. Now its been around to 15 days but my issue yet not resolved. I chased to customer care several times on mail. Every time i get response " Sorry to inconvenience caused to you, we are working on it" from them.
                                  This is absolutely pathetic and ridiculous. Now i am totally frustrated why i bought this company's product. Im compelled to say, Onida products should not be bought by others. When I called to the technician to know the matter, then i got to know, this is not only one incident actually the response from the company is extremely poor. Many of customers have pending theirs issue with more than 1 month of period.

                                    Hello i have to bring notice for u that, i have purchased ONIDA 23L BLACK BEAUTY MICROWAVE OVEN in Flipkart website on October 2020 since i have used woven occasionally, now it was repaired, I'm giving complaint to Onida customer care since one month, daily I'm giving complaint but still now my complaint not resolved, it was in warranty period, pls help me, and take necessary action please
