This is with regard to Complaint No. 31911133 raised with CESC for a very high electricity bill raised on Customer ID. : [protected] for May'19 for Rs 2030.
This is very abnormal as no family members have been residing in the flat since March. Hence, we have received very nominal bills for March @ Rs. 460 and April @ Rs.130 respectively.
So for May, it seems very clear that the bill has been generated without any meter reading done simply on the basis of averages taken from previous year. Refer to attached bill
This is a case of serious disregard of proper procedure and unnecessarily harassing and over charging a senior citizen.
Request you to do a thorough investigation done and credit back the excess amount wrongfully charged to my account.
