Cashify — Promising an amount and going back on their word, TWICE

I had put my mobile up for sale with them, their online quote worked out to 11440 rs and i accepted. When their representative came home he did an inspection ( in my absence because they keep a 6 hour window for their rep to visit !!!) and told my wife that there were some lines on the phone (which she told me that she could not see but he insisted there was discolouration, should have been white, it was pink according to him) and there was a dent and some scratches where the charging pin goes in ) So i told her over the phone to ask him what the new offer was. He made a call to his senior and came up with a new offer of 2180 rs (from 11440 rs); i could not believe what these guys were up to but since i wasn't home and my wife had to deal with this guy who had already taken the phone with box, charger, cable etc, she told him that the phone's original website was offering 9000 + rs already, one more call was made to his senior and now suddenly from 2180 it became 9100 rs plus whatever Flipkart were offering. I told my wife to go ahead and take it, they sent me a confirmation of 9100 rs plus the Flipkart voucher. Suddenly he got a phone call from his senior, who revised the offer to 7000 rs, 2 mnts later before i even asked her to ask him to leave, i got a message with a new price of 2180 rs. Even the silicone cover that i gave him for free which i had bought seperately, probably cost that much when new.
Point is these guys are literally running a scam to try and achieve their targets or please their bosses. How can a phone that the technical expert have with him, after making all the evaluations he had to, keep on changing it's price in a few minutes like it was some kinda hot stock on the BSE ? They were actually taking advantage of my wife not being tech savvy and constantly telling them that she did not know anything.
I suggest everyone better take care and not walk into something blindly. Luckily he did not take the phone and already leave or would have been a real task trying to retrieve it.
