As may have been brought to your notice through various news reports and other sources, the Class 12 Maths Exam, held on 14 March 2016 was really lengthy and tough. It was unprecedented. This has happened for second year in a row. Children who have solved various CBSE released Sample papers, and have done exceedingly well in the pre boards and previous year examinations also returned disappointed and discouraged.
With great zeal and preparation do our children appear for exams and such a mentally torturous exam dents their psyche and demoralises them. This is against the very principle of examinations. Rather than testing their ability this exam was aimed at shocking them. Firstly if they dealt with the sheer challenge of the exam they were confronted with fleeting time. All over the country there is outrage.
It is our sincere request to your high office to think about the children's future, one bad exam brings the overall aggregate shattering down. We request you to consider appropriate steps to either compensate the students by giving them grace marks or re conducting the exam. After all these Children are India's future.
