The social studies prescribed by CBSE in class viii has incorrect spellings imparting incorrect information and deplorable standard of education to the students who are in an impressionable age. It is imperative to note that in case English is chosen as a medium of instruction, in that case it is important to adhere and respect the rules of grammar and spelling. Homonyms and homophone are one such example. It is requested that standard of education is maintained and stop shaming English language
