Hello CBSE Officials,
I am writing this letter to express my disappointment and concern regarding the sale of non-CBSE prescribed books at the Rudra International School, Nashik. As a parent of a student, I am deeply troubled by the fact that the school is selling books, costumes (from Suyog Collection), and stationery that is not in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the CBSE board.
During my recent visit to the school, I found that the books being sold were not the prescribed NCERT books that are recommended by the CBSE board. Instead, the school was selling books published by Astragen (a private publisher) at significantly higher prices. As a responsible parent, I feel that it is my duty to ensure that my child's education is not compromised by such practices.
It is essential that the school provide its students with the CBSE prescribed NCERT books that are approved by the board. These books have been designed to meet the curriculum requirements and have been approved by experts in the respective fields at a feasible price. By selling non-prescribed books, the school is not only violating the rules set by the CBSE board but also compromising the quality of education it provides to its students.
I request the CBSE board to immediately make inquiries, take action against them, and replace them with CBSE-prescribed NCERT books.
Furthermore, I made an inquiry at Astragen publication end, for 3rd standard books, they are charging around Rs 3200, however, Rudra International School (Nashik) charging almost double i.e. around Rs 7100 which is ridiculous. This applies to all standards in the same school.
I hope that you will take my concerns seriously and take appropriate action to address them. I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
