Citibank — Credit card and head of customer care

This is Mohammed Asim Nawab holding a salaried account [protected] with you people from the month of Feb 2016, i hereby write an email to inform and escalate about few things i faced from Citi bank credit card department and dint get a resolution but just got false commitments and just a negative and a rude response from your downstream, here is the clear conversation below, [protected] is the reference number for the credit card application and contact number is [protected]. I had applied for credit card probably after 2 months from the day i opened an account in your bank and it got rejected due to internal cretirea and policies and i was really fine with that, after few months i got a call from the citi bank sales deparrtment asking me if i was intersted in having a credit card from the citi bank and i went through the procedure of accepting the terms and conditions and was on a call for more than an hour and i was informed that i will be getting credit card in few days and after that i dint get any kind o[censored]pdate and i was waiting like a stupid and i had to call and find out that my card was rejected and i got to know that they had just sent an simple email about that, i was really not happy with that beacuse i got credit crad from other banks with whom i dont even have the account, but still every bank differs and i respect your protocols but still this was not the way, this was the past, again i got a call from the sales team on Jan 2017 asking me if i want the credit card, i told the person clearly what happend and i told him that i really dont want to get disappoint again by the same procedure and the person told me that this time it wont be rejected and its been APPROVED sir, i got a bit hope and i told him clearly that if i get a credit card from citi bank i will be happy and i just want to keep 1 credit card and cancel the other bank credit card and when i spoke about the limit, he told me that i will be getting a good limit than what the other banks have offered me and i went through the same procedure for an hour and he told me that an executive will be coming to collect the documents in 5 days and i got a message on my phone that an executive will be coming in 7 days to collect the documents, and i was getting credit card from ICICI bank which i applied to buy an Iphone 7 as i had broke my phone and as i got to know that i will be getting a credit card from citi and was assured by your sales represntative i canceled the application from the ICICI and was waiting for 7 days with the documnets for your executive but no one showed up and i called again reaching the agent and got to know that it was rejected again and was really pissed and unhappy about that and i had to speak to a seniour about this and i spoke to many people and i dont everyones name i am sorry, i reached grevience officer Mr.Anthony and to be frank he was kind of rude to me and i asked him to listen to the call and get back to me with the rsolution and i asked for the compensation for my loses, if i would not get a call from citi bank i would have a Iphone 7 by now and he told me that calls are not recorded and lied to me and he had taken 3 days time to response and i asked him for his seniour and he told me that my seniour will give the same response, my question is what is the difference between him and his seniours then, he is not suppose to speak in that way being in a bank profession and i asked for escalation and i got his seniour and i dont remember her name and she heard everything from me and took 3 days time and came back to me and she tells me that the call has been recorder and i was just getting sorry from everyone nothing else and was on a call for atleast an hour with each one and she tells me that she heard the call and when i asked her questions she was blank because she was lieing to me, she had got email about the call from back end, why cant she be honest and tell the truth and i asked for escalations again and i got 1 more lady who again heard everything and took time again and called me asking me something again she told sir i will call you back in 10 mins and dint get a call for 2 days and i called again reaching the agent, explaining everything anf i got in touch with Ms. Cicil Talwankar from mumbai who told me that she is the highest point of contact and heads the escalation department and explained her everything and again she took time and got back to me and the lady who told who will call be in 10 mins called me after 2 days asking me so many sorry and i explained her how hard it is to reach her and going through again explaining the agent to transfer to seniour, cicil got back to me telling that commitment was not given and speaking about the terms and conditions, when i spoke to her something about limit she tells me that nothing has been spoken about the limit and she spoke in the way that i was lieing and i asked her to check again and she called be back again accepting that there was a conversation about the limit and i told her franklyi want it to be compensated and i dont want any sorry again, she took a long time when she had nothing to shut my mouth she started speaking about the terms and conditions and even i spoke about your compensation policies, my question here is why am i getting different tals from different people, some one tells calls are not recorded and some tell calls are recorder and whatever i tell what i have spoken to sales guy has he has not spoken like that some tell yes he has spoken that, is this CITI bank, seriosly, and cicil dint give me resolution she just gave negative responses and tried to shut my mouth by speaking terms and conditions and tried to manipulate me thinking i am stupid and taking out the fool out of me, she again took time and got back to me telling me this the end of it, "SORRY" and now its more than 36 days and i get "SORRY", according to you people resoulution should be provided in 7 days and if a person is reaching the highest point of contact that means there is a lot of problems and is not happy/he is not stupid and i asked her to escalate it to her seniour. but she tells me i am the highest i am sorry and all those and she asked me to write an email and i here i am writing an email.
I had no patience to write an email and i believe in end to end telephone conversation and i told her the same thinh that you give me a resolution or you escalate it and arrange a call back from your seniour, this particular conversation went upto 2 days and she was just trieng to make my shut my mouth, whenever i speak about Citi bank mistakes she doesnot speak anything about it, finally cicil being a seniour thinking that no one will get to know if it will end here and DISCONNECTED the call and end of the conversation, i called by again reaching the agent and promised a call back from cicil in 20 mins and i get no resoponse and i called again reaching the agent and promising a call back from cicil on mar 2, but cicil never ca;l back thinking that i will try for few days and i will be quite, is this the way the customers are treated, is this the way you VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS and seniour hangs up on me, this is the way all the cases are close rite?? when no resoultion given they just hang up, to be frank i had option to open salaried account in ICICI but i prefer a good service so i took CITI bank and here is the service which i got, i want to escalate this particular thing and want a resolution and i expect a telephone conversation abou this from the seniour of cicil because we get no proper response from email and writing a email is really frustrating, and i have spoken to o many people and so many hours and so many days and yet i get a very bad response by hanging up on me, i really want this to be taken seriously i expect a telephonic response as soon as possible and i want to launch an official complian against cicil, please listen to all the calls, all the respponses and check everything about the case and please get back to me as soon as possible.
