Cleartrip — Booking was made Online but Accommodation rejected at Hotel | |||
I Have booked a Hotel thru ClearTrip, Made Payment & I have received a confirmation Voucher with some Hotels Policy- No point is released to Couple should carry marriage proof at Hotel while check in .. Since we don't have Proof, Hotel rejected Accommodation .. When I call back ClearTrip CC says there is point no Number 5 is mentioned as Couple should carry, , whcih is not there Please Find attachment that was sent to me post booking.. Now when I say there is no point mentioned they have sent me another Voucher with another policies mentioned on it. We can clearly understand how they are mis guiding us.. because of this I have lost my money & my advance plan program was canceled as we did not received any informantion about it.. Further to our previous reply, we would like to inform you that we have taken up this matter with the hotel and managed to get a refund. We will process the refund for this booking into the same mode of payment used for booking the reservation, within next 5 working days.

We understand your concern and would like to clarify that at the time of booking, we do inform you about this and it reads as:
"The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied
to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is
not presented at check-in. Cleartrip will not be responsible for any
check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason."
