Cleartrip.com — Cheating/fraud/irresponsibility | |||||
Date of incident: 26-27 Dec 2015 I booked a hotel with cleartrip.com, I paid the booking amount online and got booking confirmation. I was traveling late in the night, and when I reached hotel I found there is no such booking for me at hotel. Hotel staff said they have no booking on my name and no communication at all about it from cleartrip.com. I called cleartrip support and they said that we couldn't confirm your booking with hotel. I asked for any solution and all they could say is we can initiate your refund process. I was traveling with family and by the time i reached hotel it was around 2:30 in night. That time was most horrible/embarrassing for me. By chance the hotel was full so I had to roam around to get a room in another hotel. By chance I had cash in hand otherwise it could have been more worse. At that time in night with my wife and an infant baby I had to look for hotels when I had booked a hotel and paid in advance. All nearby hotels were full that time, so I had to spend that night at a hotel reception on chairs, it was so much of embarrassing and of mental trauma. My whole trip got disturbed I had to change my further tour plan. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Strong Feedback: If Cleartrip DO NOT have tie-up any longer with than why not they clear that hotel information from their website because otherwise customers (like me and my family) book the hotel and finally end up to mental harassment situation as the HOTEL PERSON will not allow us to fulfill the booking done via cleartrip - THEY SAY "THEY DONT HAVE ANY TIE UP WITH CLEARTRIP, but the booking was done via cleartrip and hence the mental harassment situation arises in the middle of the night after a long distance journey.
