Cleartrip.com — Cleartrip did not change my hotel accommodation when the road to the hotel was closed because of snow. | |||
Hi, I had booked a flight + Hotel deal with Clear trip. (Trip id: [protected]) When I reached Shimla, I get to know the the road to the hotel booked is closed because of Snow. With nowhere to go, I called up Cleartrip and asked them to change the hotel. They were reluctant to change the hotel saying the policy does not allow them to do so. I was freezing at sub zero temperature with nowhwere to go with my wife and this is the kind of behavior clear trip exhibits. I was not able to reach the hotel and had to forego my money and find another accomodation in the night in that cold. Very sad experience with Clear trip. Atleast on terms of humanitarian grounds, they should have given me an alternate accomodation when I was not able to reach the hotel itself. I had to forego my money for the hotel booking for two days. Very poor customer service from Clear trip. This is the first and last time I will ever do a booking with them and will also advise my friends to never deal with Cleartrip. I demand a full refund and a written apology from Cleartrip.
