I had done the booking a month or more back for Goa and I had also used the EzCancel option while booking my ticket and accordingly paid more for the tickets
My flight was scheduled for 08th Jan @ 4.55 A.M.
Due to sudden rise of COVID cases in Goa and other parts of the country, the Goa government-imposed Night curfew and also weekend lockdown and this came into effect from 05th Jan 2022
on 4th early morning I have done the cancellation of my tickets and when I had checked into the site for cancellation it confirmed that I am eligible for 100% refund and accordingly I have gone ahead and cancelled my ticket
I am surprized to see that my refund amount processed is of Rs. 262 only while I am eligible to get the complete refund of 10K. I called up your call center and the call center executive was nothing more than a ROBOT who kept on informing that I have delayed the cancellation as I cancelled my ticket 68 hours before and not 72 hours and I would not be eligible to get the refund .
My plead to the team is
For situation which is such catastrophic in nature and if the government request the citizens to be at home a day before any scheduled departure, should the citizen of the country not abide by it
Under such situation it's also expected that organizations take a fair call also in favour of the customer
My question is also on your systems, why did it Indicate that I am eligible for 100% refund, if I was to only get Rs. 226 . Was this information helpful? |
