Cleartrip — Non refund of cancelled Vistara Airlines air ticket(Delhi-Kolkata sector) money and Air India(Delhi-Kolkata sector)-and non reply back till date???

Hi,

As per MOCA and DGCA guidelines and rules pertaining to refund of flight booking charges due to Covid-19 pandemic/Lockdown, i seek immediate refund of my flight booking charges as per details as under please:

Flight sector ; Delhi-Kolkata ;
Date of Travel: 26th March 2020;
Trip ID: [protected] ;
Flight : AI-20/PNR: JL05E.(Air India).

Flight sector: Delhi-Kolkata ;
Date of Travel :27th June 2020;
Flight : UK-705.(Vistara Airlines).
This flight was rescheduled by Vistara Airlines to 28th June 2020.
It was yet again rescheduled by Vistara Airlines to 29th June 2020.
PNR Details:W6CFNP/QFJPST.

Since i had to reach Kolkata on 28th June 2020 due to work compulsions, Vistara Airlines agreed to cancel my Vistara Airlines ticket with FULL REFUNDS, as it was Vistara Airlines which was postponing my booked flight with Vistara Airlines. The uner mentioned pasting of emails with Vistara Airlines will confirm about the above mentioned please.

Accordingly, as per all relevant details, i request for immediate refund of all my expended amount in line with DGCA & MOCA rules on FULL REFUND due Covid-19.

With regards to your email, we'd like to confirm that the full refund has already been approved for your booking.

Kindly contact your travel agent to process full refund, considering that the mentioned PNR is a travel agent created booking therefore, any refund to your account can be processed only by them.

If travel agent has any query or concern with full refund of your booking, request them to contact our sales support team directly and they'll be able to help the travel agent.

You can consider this email as a full refund approval for your reference. The necessary remarks are already added on the booking for your travel agent to provide you with full refund.

Subject: Non refund of cancelled Vistara Airlines air ticket(Delhi-Kolkata sector) money.

This is to bring to your kind attention that i was booked to fly Vistara Airlines on Delhi-Kolkata sector on 27th June 2020 by UK 705, but a email from Vistara Airlines confirmed that the said flight has been rescheduled for 28th June 2020 at 7.20 hrs.

This flight was yet again rescheduled for 29th June 2020 by Vistara email of 27th June 2020, ie, the UK705 scheduled earlier to fly from Delhi to Kolkata at 7.20 hrs was yet again rescheduled for 29th June 2020 at 7.20 hrs. My PNR:QFJPST.

Since my scheduled works in Kolkata could not be postponed, i had no options but to request Vistara Customer Care to cancel my Vistara flight bookings, and i had to immediately book another airlines for my travel on 28th June 2020 from Delhi-Kolkata sector. I was also confirmed by Vistara Airlines Customer Care that full refund will be applicable to me against the cancellations as it was not the fault of me as passenger, but Vistara Airlines was rescheduling their flights.

Now as my bookings was done through ClearTrip.com, i have not been refunded any amount till date by ClearTrip.com as they confirm that refund will be made only after deductions for cancellations. Now this is against the telephonic advice given to me by Vistara Airlines Customer Care that they have given full refund to ClearTrip.com.

Further, i also would like to draw attention to decisions of DGCA as also Ministry of Civil Aviation whereby 100% refund will be given to passengers who cancelled bookings during the period due to CORONAVIRUS Pandemic.

As ClearTrip.com is being unfair in imposing deductions on my full refunds, kindly forward me a copy of email, if any sent to ClearTrip.com for my full refund of my money . this is needed by me to fight this matter with ClearTrip.com so that they are not unjust to me and immediate full refund is given to me.

An early reply back alongwith a copy of email of Vistara to ClearTrip.com be forwarded earliest convenience please.
