Cleartrip — Not processing refund from canceled flight after more than 5 months! | |
I purchased 2 round trip tickets for my children from Bangkok, Thailand to Washington D.C. USA. The flight was scheduled for June 7th, 2020. Due to COVID, the airline canceled the flight. As of December 7, 2020 - 5 months later - Cleartrip has not provided a refund for the tickets. I made a payment of 1, 50, 246 - and have not received a sing rupee refund. Cleartrip has been saying that they are waiting for the airline to approve the refund, but this cannot be true. At the same time, I purchased these tickets, I purchased 3 other tickets for other family members on the same flight, but with a different return flight date. Fortunately, I purchased these through Expedia. I received a cash refund from Expedia within 2 weeks of the flight cancelation - in late June, 2020. Cleartrip is lying to me and cheating me of 1, 50, 246 rupees! Was this information helpful? | |
